Richard Millington

Founder of FeverBee since 2010. Fifteen years of building systems that scale consulting practices to seven figures.

I founded my consultancy, FeverBee, in 2010. Since then, I've generated over $6m in revenue, published multiple books, spoken at events around the world, and worked with the likes of Apple, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Mars, Intel and many more.

From consultants who have done the work

“I've been an avid subscriber to Richard's newsletter for years now, and it has continued to provide impactful inspiration on how to address the genuine challenges early-career consultants face — so I knew this course would be invaluable. The course met my high expectations, and was very helpful for inspiring how to package and sell the work that I do for games teams, shaping my expertise into a compelling offer. I particularly appreciated the live sessions, time spent with Rich and other consultants, to explore these challenges together — alongside the automated tools shared to help guide through the process. This will continue to inspire my practice for years to come.”

Steve Bromley, Games User Research Consultant

“Richard Millington's consulting course really helped me define my offering, refine it in context of thought leadership and audience, and figure out pricing and best ways of client acquisition. He created useful tools to help define offering, niche, positioning, and pricing that I will continue to use as I refine my consulting business. In one-on-one coaching, he helped me see how my experience brings unique value to my clients. My pipeline has more than doubled since I took his course!”

Shara Karasic, Consulting Foundations Program

“I love your energy when teaching — the way you use your voice, how you articulate. It's not just the content but the delivery that matters. I loved the collab strategy on negotiation, the gradual 'discovery' pricing strategy, and the lesson on creating your own board of trusted advisors — anyone who has that 'inner sanctum' is a wealthy person. The working materials are excellent, and step-by-step the learning curve happens. You named your course really well — indispensable. I have no doubt of how indispensable this will be for anyone who takes it.”

FAQ

  • Who are these programmes for?

Solo consultants and small consultancies who are past the freelance stage and want a practice that compounds. Most students are charging $10K+ per engagement and looking to scale into the $25K-$100K range.

  • What's the difference between the live cohorts and the self-paced courses?

The cohorts (Mastering Stakeholder Engagement, Consulting Foundations) run live over 4 or 5 weeks with weekly group calls, async work between you and the group, and feedback on what you submit. The self-paced courses (Indispensable Consulting Systems, Proposal Mastery) you work through on your own time and keep forever.

  • Will I get personal feedback on my work?

In the live cohorts, yes. There's a weekly group call and you can submit your positioning, pricing, or proposals for feedback. In the 1:1 coaching products (audits and the Sprint), feedback is the whole product. The self-paced courses don't include personal feedback unless you add a coaching session separately.

  • How are the coaching products delivered?

The audits (Proposal, Positioning, Pricing Strategy) run as a 60-minute kickoff call, a week of focused work on my side, and a 60-minute readout call. You get a written summary plus the recording after each call. The Strategy Sprint is three 60-minute calls over three weeks (kickoff, midpoint, close) with summaries and recordings after each, plus a 7-day email follow-up window once we finish.

  • Can I see what's inside before I buy?

Yes. The full curriculum for each programme is on its product page. I also publish a weekly newsletter and write regularly on Substack. Everything I teach in the courses, I've written about there at least once. If you read what I publish for free and find it useful, the paid programmes are the same thinking, structured, with the templates and the work.
